When you find yourself at the end of your limitations due to substance addiction, it’s time to seek help. Our Arizona women’s recovery center is a therapeutic environment where women can safely and freely recover from addiction. Substance use disorders (SUD) are serious medical conditions that can destroy your health, relationships, finances, and future. Entering addiction treatment in Arizona will equip you to return to your life as a stable and self-motivated sober person.
What Is a Women’s Recovery Center?
A women’s rehabilitation and recovery center is a place for individuals to escape from the daily battles of substance addiction in a medical facility. Recovery gives you time and space to explore the roots of your addiction while receiving 24/7 medical support and encouragement. Notably, our Arizona recovery center, Seaglass, is for women only, as we approach care from the women-specific process of healing. Our treatment programming helps women struggling with substance addiction and mental health challenges.
What Substances Can Rehab Help With?
Many substances are highly addictive and lead to a rapid downward spiral once the person develops tolerance and then dependence. Oftentimes, individuals don’t realize they’re using an addictive substance until it’s too late. At this point, independent recovery becomes nearly impossible, and they realize they need professional help. We welcome guests struggling with a wide variety of addictions, including these common ones.
Alcohol Addiction
Alcohol is a substance with highly addictive properties because it stimulates the reward system in the brain, similar to many drugs. Further, alcohol detox can be dangerous to complete on your own, as strong withdrawal symptoms can lead to health risks. Our alcohol treatment in Arizona will support you throughout detox and aftercare.
Opioid Addiction
Opioids are a class of drugs deriving from the opium poppy plant, though they can be manufactured synthetically and semi-synthetically. Tragically, opioids are the most overdosed type of drug. Our drug treatment in Arizona is equipped to help you heal from opioids’ addictive cycle in your life.
Prescription Drug Addiction
Prescription drugs are prescribed by doctors and therapists for a variety of diagnosed conditions, yet they can be misused. Commonly abused prescription medications include opioids, stimulants, and depressants.
Meth Addiction
Methamphetamine, or meth, is a synthetic psychostimulant drug that produces short-term euphoria and alertness. Unfortunately, meth is an extremely addictive lab-made substance that is illegal and dangerous.
Cocaine Addiction
Cocaine is a central nervous system (CNS) stimulant, meaning it temporarily increases energy, brain focus, and feelings of pleasure. It’s a common recreational drug that can quickly lead to addiction.
What Are the Advantages of Gender-Specific Rehab?
There are many benefits to choosing a women-only recovery center. It’s widely understood that men and women experience a different healing process. At Seaglass, gender-specific treatment offers women a space to have their unique needs catered to without distraction. For instance, discussion topics will include gender stereotypes, motherhood, hypersexuality, and women-specific pressures. Additionally, rehab for women in Arizona encourages more openness, vulnerability, and a sense of freedom throughout recovery.

How Does a Women’s Recovery Center Treat Addiction?
Seaglass Recovery in Arizona approaches care with a comprehensive and holistic focus. As such, each guest can work through our levels of care, from detoxification to aftercare. During treatment, individuals participate in traditional therapy, holistic healing practices, counseling, and case management.
Evidence-Based Psychotherapy for Addiction
Therapy is an imperative part of healing, where women unpack the reasons behind their addiction. Markedly, therapy ensures each individual relates their SUD to their mental health to work towards mental wellness. Traditional psychotherapy is the process of working through emotions, behaviors, and thought patterns to identify areas of improvement. Evidence-based therapy also has a homework component, like practice replacing negative patterns with positive ones. We offer cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy at Seaglass. We also offer dual diagnosis for mental health and substance abuse recovery. Not all treatment centers are the same. Substance abuse treatment requires the care of professionals. Our program for women includes sober living and outpatient programs so you can continue your sobriety after finishing addiction recovery treatment.
Holistic Treatments for Addiction
Holistic treatment is a form of therapy that promotes wellness in the mind, body, and spirit. Our guests can participate in a range of holistic activities, including equine therapy, outdoor adventure therapy, and yoga and meditation.
Medication-Assisted Treatment for Addiction
Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is an optional treatment track that adds medication management to treatment. Guests participate in the same combination of traditional and holistic therapy sessions with an added element of medication for symptom management. MAT can be long- or short-term, according to the person.
Aftercare and Relapse Prevention
After completing rehab at Seaglass, guests move into aftercare programming. During aftercare, they continue to focus on relapse prevention and sobriety motivation with tailored therapy sessions. We assist guests throughout aftercare to ensure they keep a supportive community.
Detox and Inpatient Rehab in Arizona
To begin treatment at our women’s rehab center, you will start with the early levels of care: detoxification and inpatient treatment. Both levels of programming can be completed in our facility, Seaglass, at Royal Life Centers.
Medical Detox for Substance Abuse
After completing the admission process, medical detox is the first step in rehab. Typically, detox for alcohol and drug addiction lasts about 4-8 days. Consequently, the exact timeline depends on your history of addiction, physical health, mental health, and other factors. Our professional medical team will make detox as comfortable as possible, administering nutrients, hydration, and optional comfort medications.
Inpatient Rehab for Substance Abuse
After detox, guests move into residential inpatient treatment. They live in the center 24/7 to focus on their recovery goals without the distractions of everyday life. Inpatient treatment provides an opportunity for individuals to focus solely on their healing and wellness in an accelerated-pace program. They engage in daily therapy and counseling to unpack their illness. They also have daily independent time and catered mealtimes.
Can I Use Insurance for Women-Only Rehab in Arizona?
Yes, you can use insurance at Seaglass, our Arizona women’s recovery center! We accept most major insurance providers and can verify your personal coverage on your behalf. Paying for rehab with insurance removes barriers to care, so don’t hesitate to contact our intake team to ask any questions about insurance.
